Paul Rodgers – ULS Managing Director

Paul is the ULS Managing Director and a Locating Technician, with certification under the ‘beforeUdig’ Certified Locator Programme. Paul has over 30 years of experience working in construction-related industries; he has a broad range of knowledge and experience, a solution-based work ethic with focus on attention to detail, methodology, and process. Paul has a strong understanding of underground infrastructure, and he communicates effectively with workers on the job and other industry professionals and owners.

With the need for contractors and asset owners to protect people and underground assets from harm or damage, Paul recognises the increasing demand for high-quality service providers that can identify, locate, mark out and map underground services. He supports the efforts of industry partners such as 'beforeUdig', and is currently a NULCA NZ Board Member.

Matt Cresswell - ULS Director

​Matt is a Director of ULS, and has certification under the ‘beforeUdig’ Certified Locator Programme. He also has over 30 years of experience in programme development, construction, contract management and professional consultancy services, focusing on investigation, design, and project management. These roles have afforded Matt a well-developed understanding of the principles and processes involved in both the design and installation of underground infrastructure.

Attention to detail, methodology, and process, are Matt’s key drivers ensuring that services delivered by ULS are to the highest professional standards.
Additionally Matt’s focus lies in business development, relationship management, and quality assurance.
